Mandarin is named after the Chinese mandarins to which it was offered as a sign of respect.
The mandarin tree is found throughout the Mediterranean and South America.

The aroma of tangerine oil is sweet, fruity, softer than that of fresh orange.
This tasty fruit rich in bromine and contains in its peel essential oil known for its calming properties.

The delicate scent of mandarin affects mood soothing upset.

Special precautions

  • It should avoid exposure to sunlight within 12 hours after ingestion or application of an essential oil of citrus: bergamot, lemon, mandarin, orange, grapefruit. This avoids any risk of photosensitizing effect.
  • In case of excessive absorption of one or more essential oils, contact the nearest poison control center.
  • Do not pour or spray the essential oils over a flame.
